The CY-8104 utilizes Advanced Metal Evaporative media, which incorporates pure cobalt metallization with a durable "diamond-like" carbon coating which decreases error rates and increases media uses up to 30,000. The CY-8104 also features a built-in head cleaner, which keeps the tape path free of contaminants and eliminates the time and expense associated with the use of regular head cleaning tapes.
