DLT (Digital Linear Tape) uses advanced linear recording technology, a highly accurate tape guide system, and an adaptive control mechanism to provide high-capacity, high-duty cycle backups. The DLT drive helps to reduce administration costs by providing up to 15 GB of native storage capacity for unattended operation. Built-in hardware compression provides up to 30 GB based on a 2:1 compression rate.
